Analysing materiality of the buildings interior.

Timber as an interior material has unique sustainable qualities. It is a hard wearing, easy-to-maintain, natural material with a long lifespan. Timber is a renewable resource that is recyclable and has the abilities to store carbon through its life cycle. Due to its qualities wood is widely used as an interior material. It acts as a natural humidity regulator that according to the room’s condition is able to absorb humidity or release moisture.
