Concept Development

Communication and social interaction is a key element in the personal development especially during the teens years. Through the interaction young people gain valuable experience and knowledge that affects their adulthood.

Considering previous functions of Newspaper House, housing communication media such as mail, newspaper and theatre the idea was to carry out the tradition of the building and create an environment for social interaction introducing new ways of communication.

The Newspaper House Social and Entertainment Centre aims to become a place where young people from different backgrounds will meet to carry out their favourite activities and discover new experiences.

Throughout the concept development were explored different ways of communications.

One of the important and effective ways of communication is visual. We rely on visual information even before we start to speak, so the significance of it was considered in the concept development. The elements such as colours, signage, digital displays are used throughout the building to translate spoken words into visual information.
