Understanding the needs of the demographic is crucial in order to respond to their requirements. The user was divided into age groups for the safe and comfortable facility use. The youngest age group is between 11 and 13. At this age children become more independent and do not require strict supervision to carry out their activities. The oldest user group is 21-24. Young adults apart from using leisure and sport facilities also will be able to get support with personal and professional inquiries. The building will provide working and learning spaces for freelancers and young professionals and offer showcasing opportunities within its exhibition and performance spaces. Studying the user were explored their lifestyles including their day-to-day activities. The survey carried out as a part of research revealed how much overall free time different age groups have and how do they like to spend it. As was discovered most of the teenagers spend majority of their spare time on social media or attached to the screens and one of the reason is lack of safe, easy accessible, contemporary facilities for social interaction with a variety of possibilities. The research shows that young people want their centre to look iconic and modern-a building they can feel proud of and inspired by. They are clear that it should not feel institutional and has vibrant, dynamic, modern interiors that use colour to enhance mood. Exploring the lifestyles of the user group was discovered the link between the youth and pop cultures. Skateboarding has become extremely popular in mainstream culture and by incorporating the facilities such as skate park into the youth centre will create a special dynamics in the building.
